Information on ski/snowboard racing, courtesy of the International Ski and Snowboard Association (ISSA), and other local groups.

During the months of January and February, races are held at different resorts in the Mid-Atlantic area every Saturday. These are amateur races, open to the public, for participants of all ages.

If you're looking for a local group to participate with regularly, there's one at our 'backyard' ski slope:

The Liberty Mountain Racing Team (LMRT) is a parent-managed, non-profit alpine racing organization that promotes the acquisition and development of skiing fundamentals, gate tactics, and race-specific skills. LMRT places a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, team spirit, safety, and fun.
